The rough diamond

All the indicators in spring pointed to a poor harvest: incessant rain, rampant disease, battles with weeds, mechanical breakdowns...
At the end of a season that caused suffering to women, men, and machines as rarely seen in the recent history of viticulture, a diamond appeared! What a satisfaction, after so much effort, to deliver “the finest vintage ending in 4” ever produced by Jean Marc.

It is a vintage that gives us goosebumps with its aromatic precision, finesse, and discreet class! One of those vintages that may become rare : balance, freshness, and guaranteed pleasure.
It shines, and we love it already!

  • A forward-thinking and exemplary estate that, quietly and without fanfare, has significantly helped raise the quality of the appellation. It produces top-flight red crus with some of the most perfectly balanced fruit in the entire region.

  • Domaine Joblot is a true gem in the almost impenetrable (wine) jungle of Burgundy.

  • This estate is a model of consistency. Both the reds and the whites show remarkable precision, each one reflecting its climat in the purest way.

  • The winemaking allows for long aging – something increasingly rare in Burgundy. We recently opened a 2005, and it was a sensation! All of this built on an eco-responsible approach from vineyard to bottle.
